BSLA Fieldbook

Part ideas magazine, part Design Awards catalog, BSLA’s annual Fieldbook is intended to explore, catalyze, and advance issues and ideas of landscape architecture, as we celebrate the landscape architecture community of Massachusetts and Maine.

CLIMATE

The Latest Issue (and the next issue, too!)

Biodiversity is shrinking as we face a warmer, wetter world; global and local impacts of climate change permeate our news, our work, our days. The grand project of landscape architecture is – and always has been – embracing environmental change while creating spaces for health, joy and living.  The next issue of Fieldbook explores perspectives at the intersection of landscape architecture and climate action.

…and introducing Fieldday! New England’s Conference on Landscape Architecture

Building on the ideas, conversations, and work in the pages of Fieldbook, we are pleased to introduce Fieldday.

“Fieldday” is the post-pandemic re-launch of the BSLA annual conference.

We’re starting where we left off — at Northeastern University. Friday, June 14 will offer workshops, panels, keynotes, and more for a day of learning and connection.

Fieldday also includes the third annual Landscape Architecture + Climate Action in New England Summit, now in a hybrid format — on stage and online.

We look forward to seeing you at Fieldday!
